Is intuition a gift that many people know today?

question: Is intuition a gift that many people know today?
Answer: managers say the ever quite openly. They say for example: "I am simply not on my gut feeling too." What was once frowned upon, is now increasingly in the business to normal. Officially, then facts and figures to justify used - that convinced the fastest. However, the frequency statements: "I have listened to my heart." increasingly well received. Managers also give off lately for such reports.
This is not really new.
We know from the Nobel laureate Albert Einstein the sentence: "The really valuable is essentially the intuition (The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will.. , and the solution comes to you and you do not know how or why.) "
a proof provided in the 19th Century Francis Galton (1822-1911), a half-cousin of Charles Darwin. He was a British researcher and writer and it means he was able to read books with two and half years - at the age of six, he ventured out of the works of Shakespeare. Later he introduced a number of statistical methods and worked in experimental psychology, which was then still largely unknown.
One day he made one of his famous self-experiment. Prior to his regular morning walk in London left the house, he introduced himself quite firmly: "I am the most hated man in England". He was concentrating on a few minutes of this issue - and walked out.
What happened shortly thereafter on the streets as the people saw him? Passersby called him to abuse. Some turned away from him - obviously with gestures of disgust. A port worker bumped into him in passing, so he fell.
Even animals were offended in him. A cab horse kicked at him - he went to the ground. There was a small ethnic riot. It took the People's Party for the horse.
Then ended Galton's experiment on himself and went home.
Birkenbihl Michael, author of "Train the Trainer" and father of Vera Birkenbihl - author of "straw in your head?" ?. - Write to 'Galton's famous walk': "Why (...) I will tell you this story not only because it is amusing, you can draw from their first two lessons (...): Man is what he thinks 2. It is not necessary, the Environmental his attitude communicated by words, people "feel" it as such "
It's easy to practice self-tests One of the best known is probably: I imagine, I always immediately a parking lot with a little practice... .. one can increasingly find faster always better parking
Small problem, the practice now know so many people that it is here in an increasing competitive environment is why. Search your own playing field and experiment reports about you. Their successes: http://tinyurl.com/ProfilLilli or Tweet with: http://twitter.com/Begabungspresse .
