question : In which German federal states were found cave lions?
Answer: Bones and teeth of cave lions were in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Berlin, Thuringia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Brandenburg discovered. In my pocketbook "cave lions" around 100 sites of cave lions are mentioned. Most of them are located in Bavaria.
